Marie brings over 25 years of experience across clinical practice and commercial research, with a strong focus on evidence generation and strategic consultancy. Her work is deeply rooted in her clinical background and a passion for improving patient access. At Unboxed Psychology, Marie partners with clients and patients to uncover how behavioural science can lead to stronger decisions, faster adoption, and better outcomes for patients.
Petrina Stevens
Senior Patient Engagement Consultant
Petrina brings extensive experience in patient engagement and behavioural‑driven health innovation, shaped by roles across big pharma, rare disease biotechs, and medical device organisations. Across senior roles at AstraZeneca, Shire/Takeda, and Medtronic Diabetes, she helped build scalable global patient engagement frameworks that embed patient insight into decision‑making. She has advanced patient co‑authored scientific publications, integrated patient experience insights into pivotal studies, and designed behavioural segmentation tools that clarify patient motivations and barriers. Her leadership consistently improves real‑world relevance, care pathways, and equitable outcomes.
She is recognised for creating systems that elevate patient agency and strengthen organisational capability. A former Registered Nurse, Petrina brings behavioural acuity and deep empathy to every partnership.

Health Psychologist
Dr White is a HCPC-Registered Health Psychologist with a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology from the University of Stirling. She brings extensive experience bridging policy, research, and practice across public health and clinical settings. Catherine specialises in translating complex evidence into accessible, actionable solutions, from national policy guidance to patient-facing resources. Her work spans health behaviour change, health equity, and co-production with underserved populations.
